Dear Pete,

I experienced this "ego death" at the age of 22 and I felt this awareness like I understood everything. Lucky to have a library with ancient greek books in my home and discovering Alan Watts early enough. Time doesn't matter. I was deeply into meditation and lucid dreaming for years. That was 8 years ago. Still walking the path. Not an easy path but definitely amazing. And, I am quite alright heeh!
