While I agree with you on a certain level, the introduction was meant to convey the idea that what we see and hear is not real but a representation of the world through our senses. It has been well-demonstated that what we see and hear is not the real universe but an illusionary image of it that we create through are senses.
Therefore, with our limited language too, we can communicate properly if we live on the same region, but still, we know that our ability to express the universe with words is futile. In fact, we can't even comprehend it.
In the end, we only have stories to tell about who we are and what we do. The greatest the story/intreprentation , the better for you.
So, enjoy a few good stories about the world.
