The Everlasting Song
A song can have both high and low notes.
It can be powerful as thunder and peaceful as a flowing stream in the mountains. In the same way, life is of intense, peaceful, good, and bad moments.
Nevertheless, everything is part of the primordial everlasting song. There are no wrong notes in the real world. They are just there to show you the proper ones. You are just playing with sounds. We are all works of art in progress.
Trusting its imperfect perfection we want to keep serving the miracle of life. The fact that there is something out of nothing. The birds, the wales, the trees, the plants, the owls, and our fellow human beings.
There is a live song around, and if it happens that you can’t hear it, it doesn’t mean there is no song.
When you stay still for a while, you become aware of similar “songs” and “truths” that many of us seem to have forgotten.
“If you see yourself in the correct way, you are all as much extraordinary phenomena of nature as trees, clouds, the patterns in running water, the flickering of fire, the arrangement of the stars, and the form of a galaxy. You are all just like that…— Alan Watts
Love & light,
We suffer because we take seriously what the gods made for fun
